Thursday, November 17th @ 6:30 - 9:30pm
Join us for a three-hour workshop in reading Tarot! If you’ve always wanted to feel confident with the symbols, meanings and metaphors in the cards — here’s your chance to get acquainted with the cards of the heart, our connections with others, and our desires — the Suit of Cups
This workshop is one in a series of Tarot workshops / meetups we’ll be offering in the Fall / Winter schedule. Look for more upcoming Tarot classes and related make-and-take workshops this Fall!
The suit of Cups is all about navigating the rough waters of our emotions, floating amongst our hopes and aspirations, and wading through the ocean of feeling that comes with partnerships, relationships, and our own self-esteem. Ruled by the element of water, it is one of the most mutable suits -- we take on the properties of water in its many forms: boil with passion or discontent, bathe in the warmth of our friendships, fall prey to frigid apathy, or icy envy. It can be a suit that shows us a great opportunity with adjusting our perspectives, and a suit that helps us ponder how the pledges, commitments, opportunities and frailties we can encounter shape our worlds.
We’ll practice reading with a few new cups-specific spreads in class, so participants can practice their new knowledge with others!
This class is open to beginners and beyond - anyone interested in discussing the symbols and stories within the Suit of Cups should stop by!

All ideas welcome! We'll be sharing them at the beginning of class and giving away two decks to two winners.
